At Macksteel we recognize that no two customers are the same. That's why we continually invest in new equipment, allowing us to provide a broad range of services that our customers require.

Rebar Fabrication Complete in house rebar fabrication equipment including an automatic rebar shear line, CNC benders and ring rollers.

Laser Cutting

Our laser cutting capabilities include the following:
Steel up to 5/8” thickness
Aluminum up to 1/4” thickness
Stainless up to 3/8” thickness
Standard laser cutting tolerances are +/- .005”

CNC Plasma Cutting

Our plasma cutting capabilities include the following:
Steel up to 1” thickness
Aluminum up to ½” thickness
Stainless up to ¾” thickness
Standard plasma cutting tolerances are -0 / +1/16”

CNC Oxy-Fuel Flame Cutting

Up to 6” thick steel plate
Standard flame cutting tolerances are -0 / +1/8”

Forming

***NEW*** Precision press
Our 4 machines up to 200 tons, are able to form the materials listed below.
Steel up to 12’ at 3/8” thickness
Aluminum up to 12’ at 1/2” thickness
Stainless up to 10’ at 3/8” thickness
Forming tolerances may vary based on material and job type.

Shearing

We can shear to size all types of materials ranging from the following:
Steel up to 1/2” thickness
Aluminum up to 1/2” thickness
Stainless up to 3/8" thickness
Copper up to 1/2” thickness
Brass up to 1/2” thickness
Standard shearing tolerances are + / - 1/16”.
Max Length of our shear is 12ft.

Band Sawing

Using our 8 saws, we able to offer cut to length service on all of our items.
Rounds up to 18” diameter
Squares up to 18” diameter
Bundles up to 18” x 25”
Miter cuts up to 60°
Standard band sawing tolerances are + / - 1/16”.

Fabrication

Our Fabrication department is proud to offer the following services:

• Notching

Punching

We can punch up to the following:
Steel up to 1” thickness
Aluminum up to 1” thickness
Standard punching tolerances are +/ - 1/32”

Material Certification

We can provide complete material certification(s), directly from the mill.  All material certification requests must be made prior to purchasing the item.  We will not provide material certification after the item has been sold, transported, or altered in any way. 

Complete Product Design and Manufacture

We can aid in the design and manufacture of any product. From the creation of basic computer aided drawings (CAD), to the final packaged assembly, we can help you make your ideas become a reality, on time and within budget. Even if we can not provide all of the needed services in-house, we work closely with a list of certified local service providers to get the job done.
